I was running a little late this morning, despite waking up at 6:00 (before the alarm went off), because I kept trying to get more sleep. When I finally got to school, I had to park in the Northwestern garage. They claim that the CG spots are not overbooked, which means I am always guaranteed a parking place. I'm not sure if that is worth paying twice the cost of a C permit, since they screwed us out of parking in the University garage. It was a long, hot (even at 8:30 it is hot) walk across campus to meditate on the inconvenience of the Northwestern garage. So I was a few minutes late to class, only to discover a sign on the door indicating that it had been moved to a different room in a different building. "Well, I hope they moved to a higher-capacity room, since it was over-full yesterday" I thought. I was wrong, when I got to class there were no seats available, and there was even four or five students sitting on a bench that looked like it was taken from the hallway. Well, I don't have time for that bullshit. I've taken enough probability already that I won't miss anything by skipping this lecture, especially considering I have already finished the homework which is not due until Monday. These smartass undergrads who think they can hang in a 500-level course need to hurry up and drop, though, and get the hell out of my seat. College would be so much better if there were no other students.
