Dad had his stem cells infused today, so his immune system can begin to rebuild itself -- although supposedly his blood counts will continue to drop over the next week, before returning to normal levels. All that remains is some treatments with Rituxan which will keep his cells clean and basically just observation, and hopefully he and Mom will return home by the end of July.
Here is a (crappy webcam) pic of me in the hospital room, we wear gloves and surgical masks inside the room so as to keep our SARS to ourselves. It's pretty boring; we watch TV mostly and I have been getting some work done via the hospital's wireless internets -- so, basically, it's just like being home.
The coming week is supposed to be a rough one, but so far Dad has been doing great. Hopefully things will continue to go as smoothly!
