Okay, so yesterday I gave my old Magic: The Gathering cards to my friend scifispice80 who is just recently picking up the game, along with a couple d20s and related paraphernalia. I haven't played since Ice Age was new. So the question is, am I less geeky now that I don't own the cards, or more geeky for contributing towards the development of a new player ( Read more... )

The geekiness does not fade my friend, you will always be part of the fold. Wave your geek pride banner high! And even if getting rid of your magic cards lowered your geek level, watching sunday night adult swim jumped it right back up, lol

Less. Definitely.

But if you play Dvorak, that trumps giving away your Magic cards and you are an übergeek.

Needless to say, Dvorak is my favorite game.
