Jealousy Makes the Rump Get Rounder

Jan 30, 2006 16:54

Although I hate to admit it - especially to myself - I get jealous more often than I let on. Of course, being the steadfast and trustworthy counselor that I am, I try my best not to let anyone else know what is behind my serene façade.

Even though it might seem silly, it’s the small things that make me jealous. For example, the way that Laren - tall and svelte as she is - can eat just about anything (even high-fat premium chocolates) and not gain an ounce. What I wouldn’t give for a metabolism such as hers! I also get jealous about Beverly’s naturally red hair. Of course, I would never even dream of dying my own hair, but that shade of red is just glorious on Beverly. And unlike my… shall we say “vibrant”… mother, wigs are just *not* an option.

I know how hard it can be to overcome that tricky green-eyed monster. It’s hard to sit by and not let that sneakthief ruin the joy that emanates so strongly from Laren as she digs her spoon in and prepares to devour a huge slice of luscious Ktarian chocolate cake dripping with gooey fudge sauce.

Unlike myself, she gives no thought whatsoever to her hips or rump. I wish I didn’t have to worry so much about the breadth of my posterior!

Oh what the hell… With the day I’ve been having, I deserve some chocolate.

"Computer, one extra large hot fudge sundae with triple chocolate ice cream, please."

Laren - eat your heart out!

food, chocolate
