Private thoughts.
Things have been so busy around here lately! I feel as though I'm not doing a sufficient job getting everyone settled in a room, and even Sir Clive's lady friend said she did not have a room yet, along with Sir Frey!!! D: How terrible!!! I cannot believe that they didn't have rooms yet!!! *guiltguiltguilt*
That lady knows Sir Clive. I... I really... ..... really hope he does come back. I miss him a lot. He's been gone for over a year and I... almost forget what his voice sounded like. I still think about him often though--he was one of my closest friends, but if he never returns I'll understand... it was my fault he left after I yelled at him anyways. I do hope he comes back--I wonder if he'll remember me? Budehuc!!! He must! Budehuc is so wonderful a place... I don't see how anyone can forget!!! And if he remembers me, I'm sure he'll notice how tall I've gotten!!!! Surely!!! I mean, I have grown, right?
I hope I can get Sir Roy to work as a guard with the rest of us. He's one of the nicest people who have arrived here yet--and he even rescued my wallet from being lost!! He's a lot more respectful than Sir Hervey (and I think Sir Hervey should take notes) and he even performs in plays!!!
I still have to give Sir Lucas his winter gift though--Master Thomas and I exchanged our gifts just recently, and I've already read through the book of poetry he gave me several times. I wish I knew where Eike was--I want to show it to him, but I have a feeling he has retired to his reading room in the sublevels now that things are noisy... that would not be unlike him at all. I have a gift for Luca too; he's been doing a good job behaving lately, and has come such a long way from where he was last year, so I think it's only fitting to let him know, but finding him will be another matter.
I'm going to have to pick up the slack and be an even better guard this year than ever before!!!!!
