RP log ~ Hugo
In which Hugo makes a certain request that requires a bit of thought.
*pats Cecile on the head*
Cecile: *glows pink* :D
Hugo: *glows back*
NPC Man: *walks by and shield eyes*
Hugo: *notices Cecile is not in her armor.* Wow - Cecile, you look nice!
Cecile: Ah? *blinks for a moment, the compliment not registering, then--* Oh!!! *flattered blush* Thank you, Sir Hugo.
Hugo: Not that you normally don't ... I just ... I think I've only ever seen you with your armor.
Cecile: *looks down at herself rather judgmentally* I do not feel like myself without it...it's a bit difficult to explain. But I get it cleaned every spring, you see.
Hugo: No - it's okay, Cecile. *gives Cecile a friendly smile.*
Cecile: Ohh!! Don't tell Master Thomas, but...*she turns at an angle to give Hugo a better look at her hair* --I wore new ribbons today, and I wanted to surprise him.
Hugo: They look very nice - I think he will like them.
Cecile: I hope so. *looks up at nothing in particular, her face pink* He gave them to me.
(Are they orange?)

Hugo: *leans forward and touches the ribbons gently* They are very orange!
Cecile: *grins* I don't like wearing any other color.
Hugo: Cecile ... I, uh, wanted to ask you something. *the Karayan looks a little nervous.*
Cecile: ....? *she tilts her head to the side* Would you...ah..like to sit down? *blinks*
Hugo: No, it's okay. It's just ... I know how much your patrol means to you ... and well, now that Mathiu's back ....
Cecile: *frowns slightly* I'm not quite sure what you are getting at, Sir Hugo.
Hugo: ... if you wanted someone to join you on while you are guarding with Luca ... I could.
Cecile: *blinks, her expression growing confused, but moreso at herself than his suggestion* You'd like to patrol with Luca? Are you sure...?
Hugo: What I mean to say is, if you would like company on your patrol with Luca, I would be happy to join you ... if that is okay with you?
Cecile: *apparantly still mulling this over* He is not a very easy person to get along with, if at all. It will not be easy.
Hugo: I know ... that he is not very easy to get along with, but I would like to help you out. *tries to think of how to explain what he's feeling.*
Cecile: *not quite sure how she's feeling either* It's difficult to explain. It might be best for me to ask him first, rather than have you simply start helping. I do not know how he would react, but I would never forgive myself if he attacked you like he attacked--*hastily corrects herself*--attacks Sir Hervey.
Hugo: I guess, what I'm trying to say is that I know it has been hard for you to patrol with Luca, and I thought that maybe if I joined the two of you, it would make things easier for you.
Cecile: *she studies his face for a moment, then unexpectedly hugs him* I did not think anyone really understood except Master Thomas and Sir Lucas.
Hugo: *nods* Yes, that might be a good idea.
Cecile: I will speak to him as soon as I can!! *breaks away from the hug* And do not worry at all; even without my armor, I can still stop him from hurting anyone, even if that anyone is you.
Hugo: *welcomes the hug and blushes slightly* I know, Cecile. You are the best castle guard I have met.
Cecile: That is...extraordinarily flattering. I'm...not quite sure what to say. *she blinks a few times, flushed with a pale hue of red* But that means a lot to me.
Hugo: And one of my best friends.
Cecile: *small smile* I hold you in highest of regards, Sir Hugo, but because you are my friend. It has nothing to do with whatever runes you bear or where you came from.
Hugo: I should get back to the infirmary now, though. It was good to see you Cecile!
Cecile: *nods* You too, Sir Hugo!! But please take care of yourself!! *waves*
Hugo: *waves back and heads back to the infirmary*
