In which Cecile and Stallion chat for a little bit about chickens stories and Nei.

Stallion: And I heard that Cecile was told an important story.

Cecile: *blinks* .................Oh--!!

Stallion: Or was I mistaken and thinking of someone else?

Cecile: Oh, no, you must be correct, I think. Sir Lucas told me a lovely story.

Stallion: Oh? What was it about?

Cecile: *waves her arms* It was all about Mother Ocean and her husband Father Ocean! :O

Stallion: *thinks about this carefully* Is this a story where babies come from?

Cecile: *nods* Yes, and it made much more sense than Lord Reinbach's story. There are a few parts I'm still a little fuzzy on, but that is because they are secrets.

Stallion: Ahhh. I see. Just as long as you understand why only ladies can have children and not men.

Cecile: Oh, I understand now! :O But the seahorses are special, Sir Lucas said.

Stallion: Yes, it's reversed for seahorses for some reason.

Cecile: Well, now that I know there are no chickens involved, I feel better.

Stallion: *banishes any kind of evil thought that may have popped up because of that* One would hope chickens aren't invovled.

((Inner Stallion: OHMYGOD! IMAGESIDIDN'TNEED!))

Cecile: Yes, well, the way Lord Reinbach went on about that and the cabbages, it was difficult to follow.

((Inner Stallion: AAAAAGHHH!))

Stallion: *can feel himself sweating over that* Well, I'm glad you were told the proper story of how things are.

Cecile: I think perhaps my father would have been less confused if he had someone like Sir Lucas to explain things to him. You must know the story too, right?

Stallion: Elves have a slightly different story, but it does involve the ocean, yes.

Cecile: Oh~! Does that mean the story is different for everyone? :\

Stallion: The concept of the story, as in where babies come from, is the same. It's just told in a different manner depending on the culture.

Cecile: Ah.....*nods slowly* So...there are cultures with stories about chickens?

Stallion: *twitch* No. There are no chickens involved anywhere, any time. I've visited enough countries
to know that it's true.

Cecile: Ohhhh......that is a relief.

(Inner Stallion: Oh, I feel so dirty...)

Stallion: So then, I heard there was a Christmas concert coming soon?

Cecile: That is what Granny Taki was saying!! I hope there will be one because I want to help!!

Stallion: I can't really sing, but I'm going to attend since Nei is going to perform.

Cecile: Oh!!! Have you ever seen her perform before? She's fantastic!

Stallion: I've heard her play her guitar before, but nothing like a full concert.

Cecile: It is a shame Sir Toppo and Shabon are not here to perform with her. Then you would get to hear
how beautiful they sound together!!

Stallion: I'm sure she sounds very lovely in concert. She wants me to try an instrument, but I don't have
any musical aptitude.

Cecile: ....Can you sing? Perhaps you could accompany her? ^_^

Stallion: ...I sound particularly terrible when I sing. I can't seem to hold the tune right.

Cecile: How about dancing?

Stallion: Since that involves footwork, I can say I'm not too bad at that. She IS teaching me some
acrobatics.

Cecile: Lady Nei most likely appreciates your willingness to learn. With Sir Toppo and Shabon away,
she's been lonely lately. ._.

Stallion: And her special friend Roland isn't around either.

Cecile: Special friend...? Oh!! Did you read the newspaper?

Stallion: Yes, I did.

Cecile: Ohh....well, they seemed to get along quite well when Sir Roland was around, but he was not very
musical either.

Stallion: *laughs*

Cecile: *blinks*

Stallion: It just sounds funny she would have friends that are not musically inclined.

Cecile: I do not think that matters either way because Sir Toppo and Shabon are very musical. Lady Nei is friends with lots of musical and non-musical people!

Stallion: She is a very friendly elf. *agrees*

Cecile: Well, I have to resume my patrol!! Lady Nina said there were things afoot in the sublevels!!
