(no subject)
Was my previous entry cryptic and angry enough for everyone? I hope so, because I don't do that very often. You should enjoy it while it lasts.
But I figured I should do a real update. However, I have neither the time nor the will to update ya'll on everything I've done in the last month. So here's how it's gonna work: I'm going to quickly run down the first three weeks or so, and then be a little more specific on the more recent details.
Scripps turned out to be amazingly fun. My coworkers were awesome, and I had a blast *almost* all the time. On a delightfully creepy note: a unnamed coworker was kind enough to activate a keycard for me, so now I can get into Scripps dorms until June 6...2006. Like 6/6/6. Get it? I'm Satan? No? No one? Ok.
When I came home, my family was kind enough to leave. As in, I got home Friday night, and they all packed up and left Saturday morning. Where were they going, you ask? Los Angeles, of course. Yes, we traded places. Yes, I was ok with that. And yes, I had an unexpectedly large number of people actually get to see the inside of my house. Woot.
I've been hanging out with an eclectic group for the last couple weeks. There's a good twenty people connected to the assortment of people, and there's a six-year age range. From Buffi (class of 2003) to Maddie and Kim (class of 2008). It's crazy. But they're all incredibly awesome people and I'm having a blast hanging out with them. I need to stop being lazy, though, and actually hang out with Nan, Jess, and all them. That may happen tonight, seeing as how Brittany's in town (btw, she needs to stop making me feel like a slacker with all of her internships and trips to Poland).
As for specifics in regard to my previous angry entry, suffice to say that I'm highly confused about my current collection of relationships and I don't even know what I want. But I'm sure it'll all work out.
Oh, and I almost forgot: I'm going to be auditioning for the College Tournament on Jeopardy! I'm so dorkily excited! So wish me luck when I head back down to LA for a couple days in the middle of July!
