Social Distortion
Went to the Social Distortion concert tonight. Didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It was probably due to being in the Moore Theater. It's a beuatiful looking old theater, but the accoustics were poor, and who wants to sit down when listening to punk rock. Still absolutely loved the performances of some of my favorite Social Distortion like Ring of Fire, Sick Boy, Reach for the Sky. Sitting at the concert made me think of Mandi. I miss that crazy little girl. All the yuais from that year are my babies even though they weren't all mine. Something about being a senior and their a freshman.
The Nine Black Alps opened the show. They are a grunge band from England. Very fun set. Following were the Supersuckers. They were decent, but as above it would have been more fun moshing around or just dancing/grooving.
