The United Church of Christ (UCC), of which I am a member, is voting down in Atlanta whether to, as a whole denomination, to accept gay marriage. This would be the first christian denomination to accept gay marriage if it passes. There are already a number of individual congregations/churches and ministers that accept gay marriage, but not a whole denominational doctrine accepting it.
