Remember how I was going to chapter my comments and whatnot?  Well, I read for about 4 hours Saturday night and 4-5 hours Sunday, and finished it.

I need an icon of Neville that says, Neville Longbottom, I love you, because, you know, I do.

I agree with most of what you said. I read it marathonly, too. Couldn't be spoiled and couldn't put it down for long once I started.

I thought it was a great, fitting end to an era. It couldn't have ended any other way. I liked the twist with the wands. Loved Ron, loved Hermione, loved Dobby, loved Neville. I didn't care for the epilogue, I wanted more of what everyone was doing now, besides having kids. I firmly believe that McGonagall is Head of Hogwarts. I wanted to know how they have applied what they learned from all this.

I'm sad it's over, but looking forward to how the movies are handled.

I need that same icon. I'm going to have to go searching, I think.

Did you hear that JKR is planning to do an 'encyclopedia' that is supposed to give tidbits about what a lot of the characters are doing post DH? (As well as some backstories). yay!

I am curious how they'll be able to do this final book in a movie that isn't 9,000 hours long.

Me too! I've been digging up everything I can find about HP in articles and stuff. I guess it's my newest obsession.
