Ok, so first off, Ill explain the song in the previous post. Its a song I heard after downloading it for a cd I made for Kendra and Kensi. Listened to it and decided hey..that sounds alot like..well...me. So yeah, there's your explanation.
Now as for the uncle for the 5th time bit. I got a call at around 4am Sunday mornign from Adam. Said he was on the way to the hospital cuz his wifes water broke. Pretty much on time. If she didnt have the baby by Wednesday they were going to nduce her. So I went ahead and went back to sleep. He said everything would be fine and that I could just come up in the afternoon when I got up and all.
So I get up, take car of a lil buidness, shower my stank ass and head on up to "The Grove" to St. Francis south campus. So I get there, head on up to the maternity ward, figure I'll just ask where they are since I had no room number. If they got suspicious Id just tell them Adam's my brother. Since when Im in the hospital aznd in the ICU sometimes, they only let family back. So he just says he's my brother adn he walks right back. Sneaky fucks aint we? So UI get up to the maternity floor and I see his mom, Liz's mom, Adam's brother Matt, Aunt Sherri and her daughter Ashley in the waiting room. THis strikes me as...odd. So I head over. Find out they had to do a C Section. Which I find out later is more serious than Im thinking. Apparently the embilicol cord was wrapped around his neck and foot. Plus his blood pressure as well as hers was pretty low. So they got the baby out and all, then got them back to the room. Everything seeming fine.
Guess again....
Liz was in pretty bad shape. Very shakey which according to her sister Cindy who showed up prolly 15 minutes after I did (and was wiggin out holding onto me for dear life while we waited) said the shakeyness was normal after a C Secttion. She had one with one of her children as well. Liz was in an assload of pain. ADam & I about went off on the nurses and Doctor. They gave her pain meds that they said lasted for 12 hours. They did nothing for her. She was crying she was in soo much pain. I thought she was gonna break my hand from squeezing it soo hard. As I stood with her while Adam was away handling certain matters about his other 2 children and where they would be staying for the night and with who. So they finally got it thru their thick dumbassed heads that she was really in pain and got her hooked up on an automatic morphene drip thingy. Basically it hooks to an IV and has lil button that you can push every 10 minutes if needed. Which is given in a controlled dose when you push the button.
So they took the baby back to warm him up and get him a bath and all. THen they discovered his respiration was in the 80s. Which isnt good for a newborn as they want it 60 or below. So therefore they didnt want to feed him from a bottle for fear he would choke. SO they put a tube up his nose and down his throat and had him in the NICU (neo natal intensive care unit for those who wonder what that is exactly). When I left around 9, they said they were going to feed hm from a bottle around 10 and see how he did. Seeing as his respirations were back down to the normal range of where they want it. Then would call the Doctor and call Adam around 11 or 1130pm to let him know what was going on. I imagine as I type this the baby is in the room with mom and dad. Told Adam to call me if anything came up and Id be there. No matter what time.
Now for the particulars, cuz Im sure your all wondering. He (yes it was a boy. They've known for a while) was born at 1:24pm on Sunday September 25th, 2005. 6 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long. The name Jayden (not sure if thats the correct spelling) Lee Wiseman.
So yeah, since Adam is like a brother to me he as well as Corbin (his first born) and Landon (his step son) are like my nephews. Landon even calls me his uncle cuz he does actually think Adam and I are brothers. So that w as my fun day spent at the hospital. Most was spent waiting as Nick and I (Adam's cousin) took the time to keep a bit of humor about and make fun of Matt (Ada;ms brother).
Thats all I have pretty much. Everything with me is fine at the moment. DOing dialysis with a new system which is supposed to cut down on the risk of infections by 50%. SO hopefully that will be good and keep me out of the hospital. Other than that...not a damn thing. Just hanging out with SCott, Kensi and Kendra alot. Found somethin a bit..odd out about Kendra the other night after I explained my whole medical situation to her. That however isnt going to be told here. I may tell a select few of you and you know who you are. One of those people already know what Im refering to. *looks at Mister N Word*
Until next time. This is ADmiral C Biscut signing off.
