Just remember, the dude that runs that magazine was the one who asked if I was pregnant again this summer, and was shocked that my mom was upset at my grandma's (dad's mom's) funeral.

Oh I didn't know that. What an odd one. FWIW, I haven't seen the article listed elsewhere.A friend of mine shared it with me. It just seemed really bizarre to me that two guys would get arrested (and prosecuted?) for reading the bible in front of the DMV. I hope there's more to the story than that.

Why would he think it shocking that your mom would grieve your grandma at her funeral??

*I think* I get the kid thing. He comes from a very conservative old school background and thinks you should have tons of babies like the Duggars or something?

I don't know on that one- maybe because it wasn't *her* mom? But her mom is about the same age as my dad's mom. And yeah, IDK on the pregnancy comment. I do still have a rather rotund belleh, but you know... once you've had two under two, obviously you're just prepping to have a million more! Heh ;) Either way he is just awkward a *lot* - he spent most of the funeral filming everyone... which is okay- I mean, he gave me some awesome tapes of an interview he did with my grandparents years ago, for which I'm very appreciative... but it was just a bit much (not that I didn't have my camera out occasionally, but mostly during the posed photos, I guess). Eh. Anyway... I just don't put much stock in their stories. It's hyped up to hit a certain evangelical/charismatic group, and it does its job well, but I don't at all consider it a legitimate news source- or at least, what news it gives is very biased towards their audience.

It's so funny that you're related to the publisher. :p But yeah, I will definitely be taking their stories with a grain of salt. It's not a site I normally go to, but every once in a while somebody will share something on fb that I'll look at.
