Loscon coming up
Just got my hotel reservations made for Loscon, LAX Nov 23-25. The room rate was good but the parking is painful especially since I don't expect to be making any use of the in-n-out (for the car, not the burger chain).
The convention chair, Christian McGuire, approached me a year ago with his desire for my special ice cream flavor made during the Ice Cream Social on Friday night. The special ingredient arrived earlier this week so all should be good. Made arrangements to pick up dewar on Tuesday and fill it on Wednesday. This is what I did last year and there was plenty of Liquid Nitrogen 2 days later. So stop by the con Friday night and see what the wonderful flavor is that the chair requested.
