Well, this sucks......
Well, since it hasn't been said yet (as far as I know), Doug & Lupita announced they are moving out.
We, actually I, got the news on Tuesday. April & I were having a great day for once (we don't get them too often due to various things), and in the middle of us play fighting, Doug comes to my room and beckons me. I go out and he whispers to me that they are moving out at the end of the month.
Well, my first thought went towards the wedding and our finances. I understand that they got a "deal" from her mom, but at the same time we signed another year's lease b/c we all agreed to stay another year. Also, we took Lupita in when she ran away from home under the condition that she cleans the house in leu of paying rent. Well, most of you saw/heard how that turned out.
Our major concern as of this moment is the wedding. We can survive in the house w/ just the two of us. However, our wedding is now gonna either suffer, or put us into more debt than we wanted. We are looking at other ways of making money. I am gonna try and get a part time job on the side to make a little extra here & there.
On the positive note, April & I can now do things to the house that we want to, without having to worry if the other two will like it. Another positive is that we get to keep the kittens, which I feel better about now b/c April has someone/thing to keep her company when I am not home.
Another good thing is my dad. he has been going for medical retirement through the post office for about 9 months now, and he finally recieved word that he is "medically retired." He gets a monthly paycheck, keeps his benefits at a reduced cost, and can even get a part-time job if he wants but can't make more than a certain amount (don't know what it is yet though). I can't remember who i have told about this, but everyone knows now.
