Well, I guess all I do for the Avi is nothing. Because tonight I got wrote up for following THEIR DIRECTIONS on how to put in internet reservations. They tell me if the room type requested isn't available to find one as close as possible, and so I do. They tell me not to put the rates on the reservation because it is confidential, so I don't. They tell me how to make them their way, so I do. AND I GET WROTE UP FOR IT!!!!!!!!!
I mean it....they tell me to put a room in as close to the requested room type available. Now, working in the hotel business, they move/juggle/finaggle the room types alot...and today it so happened that a room type came open that a guest requested. I made this reservation a month ago, and today they decided to print up all my mistakes, and one of them is marked. Gave gst wrong rm type, requested rm type available. I went irate inside, with all the screwing around with rooms, of course it might come available sometime, but the possiblity that it wasn't available at the time of booking is just way past them. I mean, its wrong for them to even sell a room type that's not available, but thats how they work.
They tell me to not put rates or a billing profile in, and so I do it. I guess 2 weeks ago they want us to start, but never got around to telling me....I wonder why.
Well, good news though. I talked to the hotel director and he was not awares of this action. He asked the datails and he said that he will take care of it. He said that they should have talked to me before giving me the "write-up," so its a little better, but still asenine in the least.
