Leadership!
The Western world is powerful for many reasons such geogrpahy, intelligence, and Leadership. This whole anit governemnt and anarchy crap that is going around is sad to see. People to not evolve or advance when they are not lead or unified. Governemnts are put in place to maintain society and the best interests of the people. That would explain why Europe was able to colonize the planet. the media today gernrally bashes the governement(punk music, documentaries). Yet people need to understand is that people need to be controlled, freedom can lead to distruction. Corporations for exampel have so much freedom they are destroying the planet and its people. Its the peoples fault for wanting change but not coming up with a solution. Boycotting is good and all but companies are becomign so large that it would take millions of people to band togehter...even then these companies may not crumble. Government is failing to stop these problems because peopel are to reluctant to spare some freedom. Not everyone agrees, and when theres disagreements nothing tends to change because neither side will give up and neither side will get what they want. Things such as crime and corporate power can easily be stopped but like I said before people through in the HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS bullshit and nothing can be done. Cigerettes are deadly and its proven, but why do they still exist? Because companies such as Phillip Morris are to powerful and cannot be stopped and the govenremnt is powerless to stop them because they seem more reliant on the company!
Its time people stop complaining about government and calling for anarchy. Its time people demand the government take a step away from capitalism and take the power back! Its good to see so many people are aware of the bad things capitalism but they see the governemnt is the one to blame, well yes the governemtns of many contries today are to blame because they are greedy and have become the "bitch" of coroprations. So dont call for the downfall of governemnt, they created socieies and advancment. Blame the view of Capitalism and stop hating Fascism, its not as bad as you are lead to believe! Many things about it can solve todays problems.
So I think civilzations depend on leadership and strong government....Anarchy is a bucnh of crap!
