Wow serious angst. I can live with that.

Though now I need to pat poor Hotch.

Hotch is heading towards a major breakdown. He takes another tiny step towards the edge of it with every couple of chapters -- & it's not going to be pretty when it happens. But fortunately, he'll have Spencer there to help him through it. :)

I know everyone says this, but the show really doesn't take into account how he'd deal with all that's happened to him. This whole season seems to have just forgotten that the man has a soul.

And yeah I think Spencer is the right person to help. He wouldn't use power or position just the strength of who he is.

Well, in the series that I'm writing, they're a couple. They haven't slept together yet, but Spencer has just recently moved in with Aaron, so they're getting to that point. But given that in my fic world, Foyet raped Hotch during that attack, he's naturally hesitant about being intimate.

And I agree with you completely -- S7 seems to have completely glossed over all that Hotch went through during S6, which really bothers me. The writers seem to think that he would have just been able to get over all the tragedy that he went through in the blink of an eye, but no matter HOW strong someone is, that simply isn't going to happen. And given the fact that on the show, Hotch doesn't seem to have much of a personal support system outside of the BAU team .... Well, that's just ASKING for a meltdown.

^_^'''' Non-Con warnings are appreciated, FYI. I have no qualms with a story based on it, but I personally don't read Foyet-Hotch non-con, and I think it's only fair I get to skip ones that go that route.

I always do put warnings on anything that includes non-con. Since this one only had allusions to it, but nothing even close to the act itself, I didn't think a non-con warning was necessary.

I tend to disagree- a flashback where you mentioned the penetration was my stop point in the reading. ^_^' I know you write lovely work, it just doesn't go with my imagery of Hotch so I tend to avoid reading them is all. TTnTT Anywho-- think you're going to write S6 angst for Hotch soon? ^_^ You are one of the best Hotch-angsters I know, (alas, I love Reid angst so much, it's hard to focus elsewhere unless they both get tied in closely!)

To clarify: The stuff of yours I do not read is Foyet->Hotch, if I see stuff of yours that isn't directly linked to Foyet (hasn't been for a while I think) I read them.
