SciFi for Romance
Chris and I made a deal - I would read one of his favorite scifi books (the first "Wheel of Time" book by Robert Jordan) if he would read one of my favorite romance books ("The Duke and I" by Julia Quinn).
This shall be quite interesting.
We were doing amusing verbal sparring over this and that, and Steve said, "Ok, you two, settle down..." and Chris said something to the effect of "Why? Ali and I do the same thing..."
So then Steve replied, "Yeah, but Ali I KNOW would kick your butt if you got out of hand. Whereas Suzanne...is a sweet, nice girl who wouldn't necessarily give you what you might deserve if you get out of hand."
"I'm a Sunday School teacher," I volunteered sweetly.
I am amused.
