In which I finally got to go to the Rose Garden. (Last day at AnimeEvolution) :(
The last day at AE was a bit more relaxed. We got to see the UBC campus a little more, tour the dealer's room, and generally just hang out. I finally got to see the Rose Garden, which was very pretty. So I took a bunch of pictures :)
Closing ceremonies is apparently a big deal at AE, whereas it's usually just ignored at the other cons I've attended. The improv group did a great sketch using themselves as props, and I really have to hand it to those guys - they're quite flexible and quite funny!
After the con ended, we had to pack our stuff to check in to our hotel. I hadn't realized that they were willing to put us up on Sunday and had made reservations elsewhere - oops. Then everybody went to dinner at a greasy hamburger place that was fantastic :) This was our first introduction to Bubble Tea which is awesome and strange. We hung out until pretty late, but eventually had to leave :(
