It's April. In some ways spring break kept feeling like it should be summer, but in other ways it still feels like it should be maybe November. For spring break Jett and I did some stuff to organize around the house (some sorting and cleaning in the garage) and then went to Utah for a bit. We drove out and managed to make it both ways without needing to stop at a hotel for the night. Wolfie was very good on the trip, and I think he's starting to "get" what's going on, so he didn't sit and yowl for hours on end. It was great to spend some time visiting with friends and family, and I am hoping that we can do so again at some point this summer.
I took my car into the shop yesterday. It was in need of a 90,000 mile checkup. They called me this morning to say that it's going to need back breaks (I knew that) and a new clutch (Ouch- didn't know that.) I told them to go ahead, because I've HAD my clutch go out before, and you really don't get a whole lot of warning. Besides, I live in SAN FRANCISCO, and I taught my last roommate how to drive stick, so it's gotten plenty of use and abuse. So, it will be a bit more pricey then I'd hoped, but fortunately, I got a very nice tax return.
