About 2 hours ago, I spilled most of a can of diet mountain dew on my laptop's keyboard.

I spent most of those 2 hours taking the darned thing apart, wiping off the sugary nastiness, and putting it back together. Actually, that was pretty fun.

But now my keyboard sort of doesn't work. When I type "o", I get "lo". That's useful for laughing hysterically, but not much else. And the period key also produces an l. I don't see how that's a useful feature.

Also, it seems my left control key only works half of the time.

Maybe this is an opportunity to exercise my warranty. This could be interesting.

Note to self: Get a 2.5-inch USB hard drive enclosure. If the computer breaks, then I still have my data.
