Wow.

This has been one hell of a week. It might be the best week I've had all year, despite finals. Let me see if I can remember all of it. This is going to be a long entry.

I pretty much spent every free minute with some combination of Ross, Amanda, Kyle, and Emily. Not so much Emily, which is kind of sad, but I understand.

On Sunday night, I played pool with Andrew, then a little bit of pool with Dan, then ping-pong with Dan and a lot of ping-pong with Ross. We talked about obsolete computers (PPC Macs are so last month, dude) and I think a little bit about our room next year. That was fun.

I know we made delicious sweet potato enchiladas, but I don't remember which day. I think that might have been Monday night, and then we finished them off Tuesday night. YUMMY!

I played a lot of video games. I like Dungeon Seige, and Counter-Strike is as bang-bang-awesome as usual.

Oh, and cheescake! OMG. I could never be a real, true vegan. Because that was crazy delicious. yummmmmmmmmmm.

I'm sure I did other fantastic things with the fantastic people I have the privilege of calling my friends. I just can't think of them now.

Yesterday was kind of sad. I woke up early to help Kyle move out. Breakfast was good, but not super fun, because I knew it was the last Lowry meal I was going to be able to eat with Kyle for a long time. I did get compared to an appliance, which was cool, I guess. Packing and moving him out wasn't bad, because there was something to do. I liked meeting his parents, but saying goodbye was, well, saying goodbye.

I spent the rest of the day with Amanda, which was a good idea. I helped her pack, and move stuff into storage, and we kept each other company. We ate dinner with Susannah, then we parted. I cleaned my room for a bit, then helped Sam and Vargo unloft their beds, then returned to cleaning my room.

This morning was an adventure. I rolled out of bed, and as soon as I got out of the shower Claire had some stuff for me to bring downstairs. So I hauled boxes for a little while, then took time out to eat some cereal. I left my room, mailed my ballot, delivered breakfast to Amanda, helped her check out, then brought stuff down to the shuttle. We said goodbye, with smiles.

I ran down to the storage place, picked up a dolly, ran back to Compton and got Amanda's second load, and delivered it to storage. I filled out the form, then ran back to Andrews for Claire's stuff. I think she had at least 12 boxes. I don't know how she thought I was going to get those down to storage. I got 3 of them down there on my own, then I had the spectacular good fortune to run into the girl with the van. She was awesome, and drove me back to Andrews, picked up the rest of the boxes, then helped me rearrange all the boxes in storage so I could get all Claire's junk in there.

Was I done yet? Nope! I ran back to Compton, picked up the extra stuff that I left behind, returned to Andrews, and immediately left to find lunch fixings. I picked up cashew butter, raspberry jam, granola, banana chips, and ezekiel bread. I'm waiting for the bread to thaw, then I'll have some.

It feels like my birthday, cause everyone's been giving me stuff. But my room is a complete mess. I think I have about twice the stuff, by volume, now than I did when I started the year. I would describe it, but I think these few pictures will give you a good idea.
