One Scene I Can't Forget...
Old and New Ducks ... Back in the folds of history... Even if its for just a small amount of time, those were the best years in Ducks history.... And for what its worth, most Ducks fans now remember the good old days before 2007.
Tonight in Anaheim before the game against the Calgary Flames, Steve Rucchin, though never a captain when I remembered him, helped celebrate the history of an old friend.
Teemu Selanne (In the new Ducks black jersey) was honored before the game for breaking Steve Rucchin's franchise record for games played last Jan. 31 in Colorado. (Rucchin is wearing the purple one... Yeah, its amazing to see those again. I've got the white version in my closet.)
He got some old pictures and clippings of him in his career as a Duck as a present, I believe from what I know anyways. I expect his number to be hung above the rafters whenever he retires...
