A week later, Ryo was back in Tokyo, lazing around with Nao on his stomach playing with a rattle. When Ryo looked up, Shige was above him motioning with his head to give him some room on the couch. So Ryo picked Nao up and placed her with Shige while he had adjusted a little makeshift fence for Nao so she wouldn’t fall down to the floor between them when Shige put her down. When Nao hit the couch she immediately crawled back to Ryo and situated herself on his lap. Then turned to Shige, “Papa!” she crawled a bit forward and pulled Shige with all her might. Shige, stunned at her first words, fell over and landed on Ryo’s lap. Looking into Shige’s eyes, Ryo leaned forward and kissed Shige. Shige had immediately sat up, but Ryo instantly took it for rejection and looked away. Shige this time took the initiative and leaned forward.
“Ryo-chan,” then went in for the kill and interlocked his lips with Ryo.
In the distance, while they were both lost in the kiss, they both heard a distinct laugh. Finally looking up, they see Nao who had crawled onto the floor and playing with her blocks and looking at them.
“I guess this means she approves of me?”
