This is so fantastic. Beautifully, beautifully written, with Sam's mind always straying to the deal and then snapping back -- kind of like dry-heaving, actually, trying and trying but never getting anywhere. You nailed their relationship, as well. I would love some more shameless h/c from you sometime ;)

Wow, thank you. :) I wanted to try sick!Dean h/c at a point where there wasn't really time for glorious schmoop or downtime and see what happened; I'm glad you felt their relationship came across well. As for more shameless h/c, ohhh undoubtedly there will be more. Whenever I have something to write for a prompt or a comm or whatever, unrelated things like this fic always come out first--my brain and its idea of 'priorities,' christ. XP
