Ouch. Very lovely, disjointed story. All I can think is how desperately I wish that beautiful scene you set up wasn't tied to something darkter.

Yeah, I was concerned about the coherence of this. As I mentioned above, I know that it has some srs coherency issues, but I don't know how to fix them, alas. Do you know what was especially jarring for you? I'm planning to rework this off of contest-time, and without the word limit cap, so the concrit honestly would be put to good use. XP
