there was an recent article in the Washington Post about whether Austin is being able to keep it weird.
i had a of couple of dates with a woman who was mentioned in the article as an example of current "weird." regardless, she's quite an artist.
we had some good dates, including seeing an excellent performance of Metamorphoses at Zach Scott, aerialists, pool, nudity and all. there was chemistry between us, but in the end, i was too weird for her. (she took pictures of my shoes, fer chrissake.) Christ. too weird for the Poster Girl of Weird. actually, that's a badge of honor!
