wrong..... AGAIN!!!!!
so i usually try and give everyone i dont like a chance to at least do SOMETHING right. most of the time they succeed in doing so. doesnt make me want to like them anymore or hate them anymore than i already did, but it at least shows that they arent complete fuck ups.
just like with everyone else, i tried to do the same with mr bush. why? i dont know, but i figured i should at least have a slight bit of faith that my country's government could do something right for once. i was WRONG!!! in the one situation where the man should have gotten off his ass and done something immediately, he remained on said ass and did jack shit. well, at least until the entire country got pissed the fuck off after four days that is. then, he FINALLY decides to leave his ranch in TX and do something. what a fucking jackass!!!
granted, it takes some time to assess the situation and figure out a course of action, but four days???? never have they ever waited that long (except in the case of bush the senior with hurricane Andrew back in the 90s). just goes to show that the apple doesnt fall too far from the tree i suppose, but then again, we did send massive amounts of aid to the victims of the tsunami last year and they got it much faster than the people in New Orleans. believe me i am not trying to be one of those "take care of your own kind" kind of people, but human suffering is human suffering no matter where it takes place and for it to have taken place on our own soil you would think that we would have done something a little faster.
