[Welp, Mimmi has been getting pretty used to seeing strange things around here. But, well, they normally don't show up at her coffee shop. So please don't mind the staring.]

*Jacob doesn't mind the staring, he doesn't really notice it actually. Too busy trying to get every last bit of whipped cream (without yet noticing the bits on his face), but he does look up as Miami speaks.*

*Jacob blinks. He probably didn't need that much...or was he really making that much of a mess? He puts the cup down and reaches up to touch his nose. Then laughs and takes a napkin to wipe the extra cream off.*

Is this, uh, I'm not from around here so I was wondering if you knew if this was a good area or not. I mean it looks fine to me, but it can be hard to tell sometimes with the way people pretty things up.

Well, it's rather quiet around here, if that's what you mean. It is a rather decent place. If there was anything to worry about, you can trust that my parent's would not let me stay.

*He nods a bit. Jacob doesn't have anywhere to go with this, but sometimes he just...talks. The coffee doesn't help much.*

Parents usually know what's safest for their kids...though some of the places I lived with my family weren't really the best of places anyway, its usually easy enough to figure out how to get by. If you're lucky. Or can run fast, sometimes that's a pretty useful skill to have in not decent places, but in more decent places you don't need it as much.

*He blinks, then chuckles a bit. Someone's noticed he's started babbling.*
