Yesterday was such an eerie day. It really seemed like the entire day was a dream. This may sound weird, but the people that I've mentioned this to so far have said that the same thing happens a lot to them--as in, you'll look at the clock every day at the same time. I mean, everyday for as long as I can remember, I've looked at the clock at 4:21 (which is my birthday 4/21). I've talked to a few friends about this, and a lot either see their own birthdays, or they see like 11:11 or 1:23 and other things like that very often. Well for the past 2 weeks, I've been seeing 4:21, like usual, and 6:21, which is my ex-boyfriend Bobby's birthday. I mean everyday, at 6:21 I glance at the clock. In the morning, I've started waking up and rolling over right at 6:21. Just this past week, while playing the Sims2 (which i'm addicted to), I'll pause the game exactly at 4:21 & 6:21. It's odd. Well yesterday, after my day from hell at work, I had to go pick up Val in Short Hills, because she had to pick up someone at Newark airport, and she has a horrible sense of direction and didn't want to get lost. For whatever reason, I just didn't feel like going straight out there, so i headed home and just lingered for a little while. Eventually I left, and by the time I got to 287, I was kicking myself for lingering for so long, because there was bumper to bumper traffic on 287. An accident had just happened in the middle lane. People were all merging into the left lane, but they started waving people through in the right lane, so I was the first car to go through. I pulled through very slowly, seriously going 5 miles an hour, because there were a bunch of people getting out of their cars and crossing the lanes, when I noticed the guy ahead of me running back to his car over in the right lane. I mean he was running, full-speed, obviously pissed off because his car had just been hit, when he suddenly stopped running, turned around, and looked straight at me. It was Bobby (who i hadn't seen since July). He did like a double-take to make sure it was me, and I just sat there in shock. I just kept driving, still super slow, seriously feeling like everything was moving in slow-motion, as he just stood there watching my car. The entire scene was so eerie, and it really felt like it was out of a dream. It keeps playing over in over in my head, just how he was running, stopped, and just stood there watching my car. I mean, he was ahead of me, it wasn't like he saw my car pass and then noticed that it was me. Seriously, how weird is that? It gave me chills.
