Hey guys.

My Gawd, I've been forgeting about this journal! :-( Oh well.

Anyway I have some things to tell you.

Lately I've been into looking at Japanese fashion books that are at my library, and there's so much variety in them. There's two books called FRUiTS and FRESH FRUiTS which are mainly into a style called decora. That style could be compaired to stuff you see at Forever 21. There's another book called  Gothic & Lolita which has a lot of lolita clothes that look like something out of the Victorian era or something that's of the Rococo style. They look like little girls of those time periods, and I really want to get into wearing lolita occationally. And it has nothing to do with the book called Lolita.

And so since I've got into lolita, there's a lot of communities here on LJ devoted to it including one called lolita tales and it's really cool. What you do in post up tales that is either non-fiction like an experience that a lolita (that's what they call people who wear lolita) has had or something fiction like a fairy tale. When I found it I came up with a new idea for a book. (Some of you might know that I'm an avid writer.) It's gonna involve lolita and  a bit of decora (because one of the main focuses is on lolita), it's based on a Greek/Roman mythology story about how Cupid fell in love with a human, it has Irish folklore in it (in fact the Cupid-based character is going to be a changling) and there's a little bit of Hamlet. What I'm gonna do is post each chapter on the lolita tales community once I get permission, and when I'm done I might be able to publish it, so wish me luck!

Annnnnnd that's about it.
