(no subject)
I'm still waiting to hear if I got into the education faculty. The other day though, I checked the mail and there was a letter from MUN. I got so excited and figured it was my acceptance (or a rejection) until I read in the corner that it was from the English department. I got a congratulation for getting an A grade in Eng 2390 and 3650. So I'm still waiting.. and getting more discouraged by the day. Looks like I'm getting closer to living in a cardboard box.. or a van down by the river. But boxes tend to be cheaper than vans. Speaking of vehicles, my dad has been dying to get a new truck. Today we stopped at the dodge dealership and he decides that he doesn't want a truck anymore. He wants the bloody bright green Jeep that's on display up there. Don't get me wrong, I'd drive it.. but I can't see my 55 year old father fartin' around in it. Oh well.
I helped out with summer program registration today. Apparently there aren't that many of last years people coming back. It's mostly new people. It seems like it's going to be fun. Kids can be quite cute... since they say the darndest things and all... but I also love fieldtrips! I hope I don't regret not going back to Riff's. If anyone's looking for a job, or knows anyone looking, Riff's needs a student, and I had a really good time working there.
It smells like aftershave in my house.
