Boo frickin' yah!!
After a very long period of time without the internet, I have finally returned!! But it wasn't easy getting back online! How's about I bitch about it here? Alrighty then. At first when I got home, there was no computer here at my house, let alone internet access. All I had was a DSL modem. A lot of good that could do me. Anyways, after a bit of sooking and begging, my parents broke down and bought me a computer. Yes, I'm spoiled. So then we called about getting high speed internet, but I had to wait for a user name and password. Then we got a call saying we couldn't get high speed at all because new equipment needed to be installed and it wouldn't happen because of the strike. So my dad told me to get dial up. Ick, I know. But it's better than nothing. So I got that, and set it up and was online! But halfway through writing an e-mail, my computer shut itself down. I called the company and the guy told me I had some kind of worm. He told me how to do a system recovery and how to set up a firewall to keep from getting the worm again. So I did, and here I am!!! Yippeee!! It took a month, but I finally have the internet again. You don't realize how much you miss it until it's gone. Or at least I didn't anyway. Yup. So that's it. That's my news. Over and out.
