"You know, right? That I'll always be there for you too..."

Silence. This eerie feeling raising in between her chest that something-- something wasn't right, but what could it be?
The Chosen began to wander; her steps sluggish and uneven. Every time she would take a step, the weight would bare down on her causing a stumble; a little trip as the advance pressed forward. The walk lead her to no place in particular-- just an empty space with no means of an end. Nothing. The spots where walls should of stood had completely disappeared along with the ceiling, or even the floor underneath her. It was as if... she was just stuck. Even so, something was compelling Colette to continue the walk, as unsuspecting as it was.
What... what exactly was this place?
By the time she was about to give up-- when the all weight in this desolate place had gotten to her-- the sight of something red.
"Lloyd?"
It was easy enough to pick out from the shades of black and gray that had completely consumed this area. Yet not only red-- the colors purple, white, and blue also began to appear in the distance.
Her friends. All of her friends were there!
Relief had finally washed over the weary girl's face. As she took another sluggish step forward, her hands raised in the air to greet them, something made her stop.
"Llo-- ... " A pause; she tried again. "...."
".... -!?"
Nothing.
Each one of her friends were facing the other way, their backs turned to her. They all seemed so happy; laughing with each other and joking around but... no one seemed to notice her. It was in that moment-- that single moment where she again tried to reach out with her voice-- that they all seemed to vanish.
One by one, each of her laughing friends began to slowly disappear into the thin air of nothingness. Sheena, Genis, Zelos, Kratos... even the friends she was starting to meet at Somarium.
".... !!"
Finally, just as Lloyd began to vanish, his head turned towards Colette. D- did he see her? She couldn't quite tell from the distance but there was one obvious thing that stuck out to her-- he wasn't smiling at her.
There was something about his look that seemed sad, disappointing even, before the barrens of this place soon consumed him as well.
"... ?"
"..... -!!!"
--------------
[ A startled gasp finally woke her from her dream. Colette sat there for a moment; unmoving and tightly clenching her arms to hug herself.
The Dreamberry had fallen to the side of the bed, unaware by the female that it had turned on.
Her friends.... her friends.
It was then that the smallest shred of a tear broke free to trickle down her cheek. ]
