hey i tried the tut. but for step 7, instead of looking like yours, mine had a slightly pinkish tone to it.. i used back the same icon so i could check if i got the steps right.. im using cs3 btw, is there any help to this?

i loved this tut btw, and the first few steps already gives some nice coloring on its own (:

concerning your problem;
did you copy the first color balance layer and than just changed the numbers of the "shadows"?
so that it is
Shadows: +14 | +9 | +6
Midtones: +3 | 0 | +11
Highlights: +10 | +3 | +7
in the end?

I'm having the same issue, but I think it's the color fill layer on step 8...I tried using the same image you used to see if it was just the image I had chosen and this is what it looks like after step 8

If you set step 8 to overlay instead and then duplicate it and set it to around 17% it looks basically the same :)
