So I'm kind of confused about, "The Facts of Life"?
I have been toying with watching this show since everyone mentions Jo/Blair as the original *subtext* pairing and I have thing for cheesy sitcoms (Hello: A Different World, The Nanny, Designing Women, Wings and a million other sitcoms that make my IQ drop by twenty points); but I'm a little hesitant to get involved in a show that runs for like a million seasons and the *subtext* is really *subtext* and not the 'we are going to say that they are not lesbians because there are a lot of small minded people with big wallets' that Xena kept perpetuating. Of course, I do like shows that make an effort to show positive relationships between female characters. One of my favorite things about Stargate SG-1 was the friendship between Sam and Janet. I know a lot of people ship them, but I tended to see them as just best friends.
Anyways, I have been planning to do this Xena v. Madeline vid. I know, it sounds crazy but I'm pretty sure that I can pull it off, but that will have to wait until I get my paper written.
