What is Club Stargate?
Back when stargateland was running, Club Stargate was the social community for the players. Now we're a general social community for Stargate fans--a place to kick back and socialize with other fans, and maybe occasionally engage in a little friendly competition.
Who can join?
Anyone at all, as long as you're a Stargate fan! We're open to fans of all three Stargate shows.
What can I post here?
1. Stargate-related discussion. Meta. Flailing. Whatever. If you want to talk to people about Stargate, this is the place.
2. Games and social posts, like marry, shag, cliff or get-to-know-you memes.
3. Stargate-related challenges that are to be played in the community, like icon tag, fic battles, or multimedia exchanges.
4. You can post to the community to organize rewatches and other social activities in the Club Stargate chatroom.
Can I promote my community/challenge/other land comm here?
If you have a new Stargate community or are running an annual Stargate-specific challenge, you may contact skieswideopen or colls for permission to post about it in Club Stargate. Generally speaking, nothing should be advertised more than once per year and all promotional posts should be about Stargate-specific activities.
You can advertise anything at all over on the promotional post.
What else happens here?
Activities are irregular and may include games, memes, gif parties, rewatches, character brackets, minor challenges, etc.
And the chatroom is always open.
Who runs things around here?
skieswideopen and colls are the main moderators at clubstargate. If you have any questions or problems, please leave a comment on this post or PM one of the mods.
