Funny, I don't feel 36
Today we headed out to a geocaching event in Greenville, NC. We were trying to decide, earlier in the week, if we should go or not when I discovered that one of the two the people organizing the event was someone we knew from working with ham radio at the annual Tour de Cure and from when we volunteered after Hurricane Isabel. So, we decided we had to go. Good thing, too, as we discovered when we got there that apparently, he had gotten into geocaching from hearing about it from jklGoDuke and I at the end of last year's Tour de Cure! Apparently, at one point, mid afternoon, on the last day, when everything was winding down, we mentioned we had to go into Wilmington to "find something". When we got back, he asked us if we found it. We said yes, which led him to ask just exactly what we were looking for. So, we explained geocaching and apparently, it was all downhill from there. :-) So, that was pretty cool, and we got to go to a great event too! All in all, not a bad day.
