A/n: Peter visits a badly injured Nathan at the hospital.. Basicly my take on Peter's thoughts and time he spend with Nathan, even if it only lasted minutes.
- FOUR MONTHS AGO -
''I'm so sorry Nathan,'' Peter whispered, sitting besides Nathan, holding his fractured hand. It was difficult for Peter look at him, seeing him like this. He wished he could switch positions with his brother, he would have done it in an instant. I hope you can hear me Peter thought.
I love you.
Without realizing that he used Matt's telepathy, the message reached Nathan somehow, who carefully squeezed Peter's hand. Barely touching it, Peter felt the pressure in his hand as his face lid up.
Peter looked over at Adam as he saw him infuse a little piece of his blood. He glanced back at Nathan.
''How long 'till it starts working?'' Peter asked.
''We don't have time to find out,'' Adam says as he filled the transparency with his blood. He rushed at the door and called Peter to come with him, they didn't have much time before The Company would figure out that they've escaped. Peter stepped back to walk out the room, then saw a rapid change on Nathan's appearance.
''Adam... Look, look,'' Peter calling Adam back to see this. Adam stopped and watched as his blood work its magic on Nathan's face and body. Peter was suprised and filled with happiness at the same time.
''Good. Come on, come on,'' Adam says tapping Peter on the shoulder as he leaves the room. Peter turns around to follow Adam but then gets stopped by pictures that his eyes notice immediately. He pauses for a moment, then walks to the night table and picks one up. He brushed his thumb over the picture, it's Nathan standing next to him what appeared to be a wedding. Nathan's wedding.
He takes the picture with him and walks back to Nathan. He leaned over and planted a kiss on Nathan's bare shoulder, who wasn't touched by the radiation. ''I love you,'' he whispered. He returned the favor for Nathan who also was there for Peter when he was in the hospital. He smiled and left the room.
- PRESENT DAY -
''What matters the most to you?'' Adam asks Peter, testing him to see if his memories had come back. Peter looks at Adam with puppy brown eyes as he lowers his head and views the picture of him and his brother.
''Nathan.'' Peter says in shock, his eyes widen as he remembers everything. He jumps into Adams arms of happyness. Adam, who is suprised, simply taps his back and steps away from his.
''That great chap, but we have a world to save.'' Adam smiles.
''Let's do this,'' Peter says with a smirk on his face.
