Well, what have I been up to. After much gnashing of teeth, I figured how to load these pics into LJ - couldn't see the thumbnails and didn't know which pics were which. Anyway, here's the attic progress.
When last you saw pics, you may have seen this.

Welcome . . . Come upstairs . . .

We've come a long way, baby! I still have a few pics to put up in the frames and the wood topper on the half way is only sitting there, not nailed down. We've got lots of trimwork to do too. But it's cozy and nice and we love our new TV spot!

But lest you think we're 90% done, here's a shot of the other side of the room which I hadn't shown any pictures of during the process since it was always filled with the construction clutter! I am putting a glass paned door where the sheet is hanging and this is where our guest bed will go. When we get one. We try not to look over there.

In other news, I'm back with the youth baseball league. I'll be focused mainly on registrations and not the money stuff very much hopefully. And I know not to schedule Sisters Weekend on draft day ever again - what a nightmare. So my three jobs should keep me nice and busy and pay off all the top floor stuff eventually.
Justin's going to the school Halloween dance/event thing and Steve and Julia are going to the Youth Encore play in Hartland tonight if they can get tix at the door. Tomorrow Justin is going to a youth group event with a friend and may get to go to a haunted house on Sunday, we'll see. Julia has all her ortho stuff out of her mouth for a week except two rubber band spacers. She got her bottom braces off Wed and was fitted for that retainer. She'll get top braces on on Tuesday. After 16 months of expanding her jaw - we're ready for those crooked top teeth to fall in line.
Now back to dishes and dinner prep. Yes, dishes before dinner! They've piled up for a couple of days.
