A Lesson in Observation

So today, things at school were...interesting...to say the least. lol Always is, but today I recieved a lesson in being more aware of myself and my surroundings. I had 7th graders today. First comment I got in club today is, "Wow, the teacher's hot!", so I knew it'd be a bit of an interesting day because starting out the day with a 7th grade boy being attracted to you is never fun.  I also knew it would be a rough day because my directions were: take each class to the library and have them read a book all hour. RIGHT! Like that's going to happen on Valentine's day with 7th graders - the candy hearts alone have enough sugar to power a 5 y/o for a couple of days... But, I made it through the first hour of the day.  Then, after my 1st hour, I was walking back to the room to get the 2nd hour class - the little hallway you took to get to my room was situated right next to the boys bathroom. Naturally, I was rushing...walking fast, trying to make sure I was composed before I walked into the room...apparently was trying too hard to make sure I was composed and pretty much missed the hallway and started to walk into the boys bathroom. Wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't almost plowed down a very attractive teacher that was very close to my age - he had just finished washing his hands and was walking to the towel dispenser. So yeah. A bit of a shock to realize not only am I NOT in the hallway I'm supposed to be in, but I just walked into the little boys room and barely stopped before tackling an attractive man. So, I avoid complete disaster and make it to the hallway before he recovers from his shock and take care of the class - take them to the library...And after that hour, I had plan. Well, I went to the bathroom...realized my zipper had been down THE ENTIRE DAY. And I was wearing navy blue high-waisted pants and PINK underwear. I mean, no mistake about it. *sighs*  The other really ironic part was that the classroom for teacher that I nearly plowed down...it was directly to the left of mine.

Happy valentine's day!!!
