My grandma passed away today at 7 a.m. I'm alright, she's been degrading for years now and I knew this day would come. I said my farewell on Saturday.

My mother has been living at the nursing home since her choking incident on Thursday and I'm glad that she can finally rest.

its always good to think that shes in a better place now, and she wont suffer or anything like that anymore.

it's hard to say if it's easier or not when you know it's coming
we knew my grandma would die for months and we'd had a few false alarms but it was still really tough on me when we got the final call

matt i am really sorry... i don't really know what to say because i'm terrible at this but i hope you're ok. and i hope your mom is okay. when my grandma died everyone told me not to be upset because she's in a better place, but i know that not being upset is nearly impossible. you don't have to hold anyhting in either, we're all here for you.
