(no subject)
Wow...I thought that if I got this I wouldn't have time to write in it and stuff but I've had it less than 24 hours and I've already written in it twice. I guess it's cause I'm SOOOOO bored and have nothing to do for school.
I tried to the fishbowl questions for English. I thought I had a really good long term memory until I tried to remember the crazy stuff Quin put in Ishmael. "It is the proper knowledge of the gods: who shall live and who shall die." "the world was made for man and man was made to rule it." "with man gone, will there be hope for gorilla?" "with gorilla gone, will there be hope for man?" 'shiver' hated that book...not a good first impression of ninth grade English.
Well as I stated earlier, I am incredibly bored. So just for kicks, I decided to translate some of Buck's "collage" into Latin. Here's the first stanza. It only took me like an hour and a half :)
"Semel pernovi respones omnes, steti in terra quidam. Pictura beatatis verae. Confisio sine conatu." "Non nihil vexat me, non nihil est non iuridicialis" "Sumne Ego delirus?"
"Volo poteram denarro te coram hic, sed est nunquam tempus. Nunquam conciliabulum."
"Invenio est praedurus denarrare te, invenio est praedurus capere."
"Potes audisne me? Sum Subrideo ubi incino hic canorem, tibi, et solus tibi."
LATIN LIVES!!!!
Okay that was just a rough translation..I know that there are a lot of mistakes in that translation. The problem is I've only been taught how to do subjects, main verbs, mini prepositional phrases and the occasional indirect object. Latin is a very confusing language.
Well Dad just told me no CD production tonight. Bergman isn't finished with the Pop Concert CD yet. That means so far he has to do:
Pop Concert
Pt 2 Spring Concert (Jazz band and Percussion Ensemble)
Vocal Jazz Concert
Orchestra Concert
Orchestra pic CD(thats up the HOBO I think)
*just a reminder only a week remains to get these CDs out to the paying public.
And this is a shocker...I don't have to go to church on Saturday!!!! This leaves the entire after noon open. If anyone wants to do anything gimme a ring IM FREE! Sad thing is I'm off to church later tonight for a training session for something I'm doing this summer. 7-9. third time i've gone to church this week.
Well I think this is enough for now...gotta go eat dinner smells like spaghetti yuk!
