well i just got back from Cornerstone (one of the best places ever). it is a 4 day christian music festival in Illinios! i cant explain everything that happened. but i will explain a little. it was me, anna, court, will, zach, and megan. we drove all day wednesday (13 hours) got there at night. will and zach set up the tent while the girls went to this worship on the beach thing with on of our favorite bands..Psalters. The guys didnt like Psalters...thats why i didnt feel bad. and it was awesome. then it was four days of sleeping in tents, eating what we could find at a local hick grocery store that we could cook over a coal grill, going to the bathroom in porter potties (johnny on the spot is what they are called), bathing in lakes, going to see all these different bands, shopping in the merchandise tents, i learned how to juggle, swimming, sweating, DANCING..lots of that, worship, freezing at nights, dust in the face, etc. It was awesome. There are about 10 different stages set up all over. all different sizes (normally the more well known you are the bigger a stage you get). The biggest is mainstage...where people like switchfoot and jars of clay played. Going to mainstage was awesome. its like in this valley thing so there are hills all around where you could bring a blanket and sit and see the stage...or you could go up close where people danced and were rowdy. i did both. I found a lot of new bands that i like. (The Roosevelts was the main one). anyways....i have to go. Just wanted to explain how awesome last week was.
