The best things about being a kid
My toddler cousin came over today with my aunt and uncle for the wf interview and I spent my whole afternoon playing with her. Watching her, all I can say is, I think I'm really growing old because I begin to realize what are the best things about being a kid.
Being a kid means you have a bundle of energy and you are never tired. You run around the place joyfully and even the simplest things fascinate you. You are fearless; you fall down and pick yourself up as though it didn't hurt. And the best thing is, you keep trying. You keep trying even though you may not do it well or you may not be able to do it at all. But the thing is, that doesn't matter. You keep trying with a smile because it's fun. Everything is fun even though it may be nothing at all. And you have hope in a lot of things like princesses and princes.
Apparently the "in" thing for young girls is to pretend to be princesses and they actually buy princess gowns to wear! Like wow. I was never brought up to think I'm a princess. In fact, today my mum joked that i'm brought up to think i'm a slave. -.- NO WONDER I ALWAYS WORK SO HARD.
The joys of being a kid. But hey! Nothing can make me want to go back to those psle, o level, a level days thank you very much. I'm pretty glad to be done with all that.
