Title: I don't like you
Pairing: Ryotarou x Chinen
He had felt irritated since this morning and him standing there telling him that he was an antisocial old prune was the last thing on the list of what he wants to see and hear. A part of him snapped, and he bit out the words one by one. "You know what? I don't like you."
"Eh?" Chinen didn't look like he absorbed the message.
"I said I don't like you." He glared while repeating.
Even though he was technically the youngest, but it has always been Chinen, Chinen, Chinen amongst the group. Ryutarou resented the fact that everyone doted on him. And even more so when everyone compared the two of them.
So what if he was mature, and doesn't act his age? So what if he wasn't pure and cute like Chinen? So what if he's snarky and have a serpent tongue?
He was sick of everyone trying to tell him how to act like a kid, or rather, act like Chinen. That cheery attitude irritated him. He didn't need a model. He didn't want to be someone else.
From his position on the seat, Ryutarou waited for a reaction with a twisted excitement. But to his surprise, the horrified expression did not dawn on Chinen's face as if whatever he said didn't even faze the shorter boy.
Chinen broke into his signature smile.
And suddenly the heavy atmosphere dispelled. Feeling the sudden status shift, Ryutarou leaned back to the opposing side of the sofa as the other advanced on him with a giant grin.
"Maa, Ryu-kun can hate me... it doesn't really matter." Chinen encircled his arm with his tiny hands and tugged him back to place. Ryutarou was about to protest when the weight of the other's head landed on his shoulder.
Turning his head to regard the other, he felt all the rude comments died at the tip of his tongue. With his eyes closed, Chinen had the most peaceful expression on his face. It was a faint whisper from the other, but he had heard it. Ryutarou sighed as an admit of defeat, it was like a battle he can't win. So he shifted into a more comfortable position and let the other use him as a sleeping pillow.
...It doesn't matter because Ryu-kun is my favourite person, even more so than Ohno-senpai.
Title: Best Friend
Pairing: Yuto x Yamada, Daiki x Yamada??
He glared at anyone and everyone who passed his way this morning. Although in Daiki's opinion (and probably most other people's) that looked a bit too adorable to be taken seriously.
Right beside him was a copy of the latest magazine interview. One of the subtitles read, 'lately our relationship resembles that of a couple'. The picture had Yuto lying on Keito's legs.
No wonder the English kid outside refuses to come in.
Why am I not surprised? Daiki thought as he sat down beside Yamada and patted his shoulder sympathetically.
Like a hurt puppy, Yamada clung on almost immediately to his neck and made whimpering noises.
"There, there," he chided, "it's okay."
"But if they are the couple then what am I?!"
A bit stumped at what to say, Daiki sneaked a glance across the room for the creator of this mess. Nakajima Yuto was found on the other side of the room sitting somewhat defeatedly on a chair, glaring to their spot with a pout.
Maaa... it's not like he expected the taller boy to be sensible enough to apologize. Yuto might be sharp in many things but regarding Yama-chan's feelings he was still an amateur. That was why he earn the title of best friend instead of Yuto.
“It's ok, Yama-chan. I'm sure it's just fan-service. He can't possibly mean that for sure...” He continued trying to comfort the younger boy in his arms while trying desperately to catch the chopstick boy's gaze on the other side of the room, attempting to get him to say something. But the idiot just huffed and turned his head away.
Oh you dumbass, now is not the time to get jealous! Here I am trying to salvage your relationship....
"...Fine! If that's how you want it.” He muttered under his breath angrily.
“Dai-chan, what did you say?” Round innocent eyes looked at him with curiosity. Daiki shooked his head and plastered a dazzling smile on his face.
“I found an awesome dessert place that sells strawberry cake. Let's go after practice.” The other's face light up at the mention of strawberries, "it'll make all the bad things in the world go away."
“Really?”
“Yup. My treat.”
“I love you Dai-chan!” Yama-chan happily hugged him tighter and yelled in a loud voice. He could feel two death rays beaming through his head from the other side of the room, but frankly he didn't care.
He wanted to do this for quite a while.
