Update- Dad just called. Brian has a broken collarbone. And will hopefully be happily medicated out of his mind by the time he gets home. Apparently that's one bone you can't exactly cast. He said something about putting one elbow in a sling-whatever attached to his waist (to still most movements). Interesting fact: our cousin broke his collarbone playing football in high school in the early 90s.
Some crazies were chasing another car on the Atlantic City Expressway, trying to kill the diver (according to dad), and the guy hit Brian. On purpose or by accident, who knows. I'll be watching the AC news tomorrow (NBC, channel 4 on my cable), that's for sure.

me: oh yeah. they were shooting at the guy with a gun
me: happened right outside of AC. it'll be on the news

me: apparently they blew out one of the guy's windows.
fd: while they were at it they should have watched where they were driving. -.-
me: well, dad said the guy who was being shot at was the one to hit brian
