Two people stopped us outside the dorm, and told us they had a joke for us. Asked us to rate it out of 10.
A girl said, in a very posh British accent, "What's the difference between a Mercedes and a Scooter?" (Scooted being pronounced "Skohtah" as they had very heavy country British accents...very).
me "I don't know what?"
girl "No no you have to at least make a guess"
john "Um...two more wheels"
girl "No. Princess Diana wouldn't be caught dead in a scooter"
me "wow....that's horrible."
man "good try though, mate. very close"
...I'm pretty sure it's going to take me a week to get over that. it's still way too early, and the juxtaposition of nice college kids with apparently very brash Britains was a bit of a shock.
