Last night was better than the night before. I passed out almost as soon as the light went out in the bedroom, and I stayed up until normal bedtime to give me a better chance of sleeping through the night. I still woke up sometime around 4:30 and was awake for over an hour. Part of it was due to my boyfriend's alarm clock (which started going off at regular intervals at 5), but the rest of it was... yeah. I was a little calmer than I was the night before. I recited a loving-kindness meditation, which helped a little. I considered getting out of bed and reading or playing DS in either the closet or the bathroom. But I fell back asleep almost immediately after my boyfriend got up and started puttering around the house.

I think I'm going to start wearing earplugs to bed again.
